These Characters Are Ready to Lead (A Top Ten Tuesday Post)

written by Leslie November 7, 2017

Welcome November! And welcome Fall (finally! here in California)! And welcome Tuesday! This means another week of Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  This week’s topic is Characters who would make good leaders. I decided to go with a list of all types of leaders. So, here it is:

Top Ten Characters Who’d Be Great Leaders

10. The Tale of Despereaux

The little mouse Despereaux could lead a fencing class. Bring your own needle!

9. The Female of the Species

Alex could lead a self-defense class. Just don’t volunteer to demonstrate.

8. #Famous

Rachel could lead a class in social media use. She knows it all: how to deal with cyberbullying and how to get yourself famous in one tweet.

7. Harry Potter

Hermione could lead all incoming freshman girls in a class on how to deal with boys: suffering through them, putting them in their places, outsmarting them…

6. The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett

Hawthorn could lead a creative writing class. No shortage of wild creative thinking on her part.

5. Hatchet

Brian could lead a wilderness survival camp for boys

4. The Hunger Games

Katniss could lead the same camp for girls

3. The Cupcake Queen

Penny could lead a baking class. She’d hate it at first, but then she’d warm up to it.

2. A Study in Charlotte

Charlotte could lead a class on reading clues. Just hope you can read her correctly.

1. The Running Dream

Jessica could lead a runners’ group and would have great advice for any members who get injured.

Who are some other characters who’d be great leaders?

xo, Leslie
