Chasing Eveline Release Celebration (July 11, 2017)

When Ivy’s mom leaves, that means Ivy is now the one to take care of her dad. Dads always need taking care of. 🙂  One thing Ivy wants to do is make sure her dad eats properly. She’s a little worried about his health. So one afternoon, she makes a lasagna but uses ground turkey instead of ground beef. In her teen mind, that one magical change will make it super healthy. Haha!

Well, speaking of lasagna, this recipe is my mom’s homemade lasagna. It comes from our neighbor in Cincinnati. So…it’s Midwestern just like Ivy is! And it’s the BEST LASAGNA EVER. I will not eat any other lasagna. It’s true. This one has ruined me for all other lasagnas. It’s that good. Go ahead, try it and have a little taste of Chasing Eveline!

(This picture isn’t of my mom’s lasagna. It’s a Betty Crocker lasagna. I don’t have a picture because the food doesn’t last long enough for me to take one!)

Enjoy!!!

What is your favorite recipe? Do you have a lasagna recipe that you think could knock mine out of 1st place in my heart?
