After a painfully long Monday, it’s now Tuesday. I don’t even have the effort for a sad workplace cartoon. I also don’t have enough 2015 books to discuss. Certainly not ten. So instead… with a poem, I will paint you a picture of a girl who writes books.
“V” by Matthew Dickman is one of my favorite poems of all time. I read it once and fell in love. Love at first sight. Especially in this abhorrent “Sex in the City” world that we live in, this resonates with me. I am the girl in the t-shirt. (You understand I mean that metaphorically and not literally, right? Lawsuits and copyright and all. You get it.)
