This week has marked the end of summer. RIP Summer 2018. I appear to have disappointed most people I’ve come into contact with because I did not travel anywhere. (As evidenced by the sad head tilt after the question, Are you traveling anywhere this summer? or Are you taking any trips this summer?) No, I did not travel to exotic location or take a trip to Europe. In my defense, I’ve already done that. It’s sad I feel the need to defend that, but I did. All summer long.
Well, here I am at the end of this non-traveling summer, and I’m actually more sad than I’ve been before at the end of this glorious time. I may not have traveled, but I did so many small things that I really enjoyed. Without even consciously thinking about it, I’ve been living my motto for this year: Do small things with great love.
It’s been a great couple of months, and I’m sad to see it end. It was a Summer of Mr. Darcy and Me. And here’s some of the small things I did with great love.
