Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe it’s already Fall. And also, I can’t believe it’s still only October (says the teacher in me. lol) But it’s Tuesday, so that means another edition of TOP TEN TUESDAY brought to you by The Broke and The Bookish.
Today’s topic is Books with Fall/Autumn Covers. You’ll find that my association of these books may have actually nothing to do with the story itself. Haha. Sometimes it just takes an orange cover, and other times it may just be that I read it during the Fall. So if you’re up for some random Fall associations, read on!
Top Ten Fall/Autumn Book Covers
Books I’ve Read
10. Twilight
It’s the apple, I think.
9. The House on Mango Street
It must be the orange. Because a mango, unlike the apple, does not remind me of Fall
8. Number 6 Fumbles
Pretty sure this one is the football reference.
7. Green Angel
My favorite Alice Hoffman! The dark greens with the golden and orange hues make me think of Fall. Also I read it one September in one sitting at a park down the street from my school when we had to spend hours there because a suspicious package was found in a classroom. (By the way, the office told a teacher, “See what’s in it,” when she reported it. LOL.)
6. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
For sure it’s the color. I read this one in Palm Springs one very hot summer. So it’s definitely not my experience with the book!
Books on my TBR
Since I haven’t read any of these, it’s the colors for sure.
5. Wicked Like a Wildfire
4. Wild Beauty
I think this one is because I’m looking forward to reading it in the Fall. Because these flowers really don’t scream Fall now, do they? lol
3. Pax
2. Wait for Me
1. The Way Back to You
