Top Ten Tuesday: A Fictional Galentine’s Day

Happy Galentine’s Day!!!

Um, well…

And it happens to fall on Tuesday, which is also TOP TEN TUESDAY brought to you by The Broke and The Bookish. So this week I thought I’d marry the two! (Get it??? Hahahaha). So, I present to you…

Top Ten Fictional Gal Pals for Galentine’s Day

Books I’ve Read

1. Violet Markey

I’d love to work with her on Germ and post thoughts all over her wall. A wall of words and ideas is way cooler with her. On my own, I feel it’s more Crazy Carrie from Homeland than artistic cool.

2. Old Lady Jackson

If you haven’t made her acquaintance yet, I highly encourage it. She sort of might come off as preachy, but I assure you that she dishes out some great advice. She might be my doppelganger.

3.Annabel Greene

Annabel seems cool. We could listen to music together. There’s nothing better than music.

4. Hermione Granger

I mean, there’s the obvious muggle connection. Duh. But it would be so cool to be invisible and go around and watch people. I’m still trying to figure out what I would bring to the partnership. Probably nothing. She’s way cooler than I am.

5. Georgia Nicolson

Well, she’s just about the funniest character I’ve ever encountered. I love a good laugh. Plus there would be all the super cool British words I could use.

Books I have yet to read, but these gals seem cool

6. Nico Cavan

I mean, I’m not so sure about hanging out in the Pacific Northwest with all that cold and rain, but I love music and if she knows about Kurt Cobain, she must be cool.

7. Rachel

I feel like Rachel needs a gal pal to help her deal with all the online bullying.

8.  Olivia

Oooh…I love a good girl fight. (Well, not really actually.) But it sounds like Adrienne deserves it. Plus, don’t you want to know how to break a boy, too???

9. Cath

Okay, #realtalk…I’ve been known to have been obsessive once (or twice?) in my life. Seems like Cath and I would get along.

10. Trixie

So I’m not a big comic book fan, but I LOVE a good challenge. I’d love to knock Ben down a notch, too. His mustache won’t help him gain favor with me.

What other gals should I add to my Galentine’s Party list?
